Men’s Issues

In-person counselling services in Surrey, BC and virtually anywhere in British Columbia, Canada.

It makes sense you feel this way.

Today’s expectation of us? It’s bottling everything up. Classic “guy stuff”, right? Ignoring emotions, muscling through pain, then blowing up with road rage, snapping at your family—or turning it on yourself.

We’re told burying how you feel makes you stronger, and more respected. But inside? You’re crumbling under the pressure of being a man today.

You push hard—at the gym, at work—and it’s never enough.

But hey, suck it up and be tough, right?

Break the chains of unrealistic expectations.

I get it—you’re probably thinking, “Stirring up emotions. Awesome.” But hear me out—that’s where the healing kicks in.

Next thing you know, you’re not snapping over spilt milk with the family or going full defense mode on every little thing.

Your head’s clearer, you’re not carrying that invisible shield 24/7, feeling like you have to crush every workout to be enough or get rowdy at a hockey game just to prove something.

Letting go of what you’ve been holding in makes room for your authentic self—free to feel, express, and move forward. Your life—relationships, work, family—gets a whole lot better.

Why me?

Those old-school fireside chats with your elders—where advice, support, and basically therapy flowed? Long gone. Today, being a man comes with stress, isolation, and pressure—I get it.

I’ve walked this road myself, and my goal is to create a space where you can loosen the grip this pressure has on your life.

We’ll dig into the generational cycles that shaped us and figure out how to break them—for yourself and future generations.
